The first Athens Rum Festival will be held on 6-7 November 2016, in Athens organized by Baba au Rum and the Conf Expo Ltd.
The Athens Rum Festival will host an exhibition of rum related products from Greek representatives and some trade companies from abroad. The festival will also include training seminars, masterclasses and tastings from renowned rum experts.
Important persons will be there to inform the visitors about the rum, rum based cocktails and the latest trends accordingly. Martin & Rebecca Cate, founders of the famous Smuggler’s Cove, the most important tiki bar in the USA, will be there to present their new book concerning the history and the future of Tiki Cocktail Culture, one of the most pop motion of the 20th century in America. Furthermore, rum bloggers from Greece and abroad and rum experts as well will attend the festival.
