The 30th Athens Run will be held on Sunday 23 October 2016, organized by the City of Athens’ Culture, Youth and Sports Organization (OPANDA).
The Athens Run is expected this year to draw in more than 20,000 runners who will test their endurance in the 10km, 5km and 3km races.
With the support of charity group Oloi Mazi Boroume (Together We Can), the 30th Athens Run kicks off at 9.30am at the Panathenian Stadium, with Athens Mayor Giorgos Kaminis firing the starting pistol.
In collaboration with Oloi Mazi Boroume, organizers aim to gather long-term food items which will go towards the needs of the Athens Municipality Reception And Solidarity Center.
