BITB showcases the bigger picture for travel and tourism. It is B2B with a difference! While the show facilitates interaction between travel agents and product suppliers, the traditional B2B model, it brings first-time several new categories of exhibiting segments and their respective buyers, in line with the changing dynamics of the Indian industry. What is driving Indian tourism, is being mirrored, consolidated and given a corporate structure within the larger B2B model.
Outside of the regular segments of hospitality, aviation, states and countries, the exhibition diversifies to include the growing and critical verticals of Technology in Travel and Tourism, Investments into tourism related infrastructure, MICE, Weddings, Luxury, Sports, Wellness and Events based tourism.
The emphasis is on products, and the effort is to bring what is new, exciting, and innovative.
Moreover, BITB showcases the big ticket exchanges between countries, composite tourism manifestations of cities and destinations, those that Indians frequent already and those that are likely to become popular in the years ahead. Sightseeing and shopping have been traditional reasons to travel. Now, there is MICE movements, and also for education, medical, business, etc. India is engaging the world like never before! Country to country dialogues, city partner pairing on the world stage, cultural and sporting exchanges – all these provide for greater exposure to world cities.
Bringing the best of ‘GLOCAL’, to India and to this part of the world. The outreach of ITB opens new avenues for promotion of the show, and equally of India as a destination. For both buyers and sellers from around the world, this reach is unparalleled. This access comes to BITB, and gives the event a 360 degree perspective, like to no other event in this part of the world – in back end technology and support, in reaching out to new segments in the business and in event planning and execution.
