BITB showcases the bigger picture for travel and tourism. What is driving Indian tourism, is being mirrored, consolidated and given a corporate structure within the larger B2B model.
Outside of the regular segments of hospitality, aviation, states and countries, the exhibition diversifies to include the growing and critical verticals of Technology in Travel and Tourism, Investments into tourism related infrastructure, MICE, Weddings, Luxury, Sports, Wellness and Events based tourism.
The emphasis is on products, and the effort is to bring what is new, exciting, and innovative.
Moreover, BITB showcases the big ticket exchanges between countries, composite tourism manifestations of cities and destinations, those that Indians frequent already and those that are likely to become popular in the years ahead. Sightseeing and shopping have been traditional reasons to travel. Now, there is MICE movements, and also for education, medical, business, etc. India is engaging the world like never before! Country to country dialogues, city partner pairing on the world stage, cultural and sporting exchanges – all these provide for greater exposure to world cities.
