The Organization for Culture, Sports & Environment of Ag. Dimitrios Municipality and the Region of Attica will organize for second year in row the “Eirinodromia 2017”, on Sunday May 14.
The race will be held within the frame of festivities to the memory of Alekos Panagoulis and is a race on a public road.
Races will include roads of 10km, 5km and 2,5km and for physically challenged persons – Special Olympics, while it will be held the “Kids’ Athletics” program of Education Ministry.
The start & finish point will be in front of the municipal hall of Agios Dimitrios, where all the events will make the race a celebration for the Peace and Sports. The Organization for Culture, Sports & Environment of Ag. Dimitrios Municipality aims to establish this event as the annual festive dedicated to peace, with the participation of runners, students, sport & cultural institutions from the entire municipality and the wide area of Attica. The races will start on 9 am.
Eirinodromia 2017 is organized in cooperation with sport club “OFKA Odysseas” of Agios Dimitrios and is under the auspices of SEGAS and SEO, while the entire road is certified from AIMS and SEGAS as well.
