Further to the latest announcement published by the HKSAR government on June 2 the TKS, the organizer of ITE Hong Kong, after consideration and consultations, will hold a special edition of ITE from August 7 to 9, 2020 at Halls 3B to 3D in the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) with some major adaptions.
So ITE Hong Kong 2020, which originally scheduled from June 11 to 14, is postponed and will be held during 7-9 August 2020 (Thursday to Sunday) at HKCEC, Hong Kong.
ITE Hong Kong in 2020, will once again integrate successfully leisure focused 34th ITE and 15th ITE MICE, maintaining separate trade/MICE day and public/FIT days, each with its own promotion, and highlight theme travels which are attractive to affluent travelers including FIT.
Its trade visitors mainly come from Hong Kong (Asia’s 3rd largest) and mainland China, the world’s largest travel source market. So in “Trade Days”, the exhibitors meet travel trade from Hong Kong and China, MICE, corporations for trade promotions and channel sale, and affluent FIT in “Public Days” for retail sale and public promotions in one stop – ITE!
The one trade day, which require registration with business card for admission, drew 12,000 regional buyers and visitors. ITE Hong Kong effectively combines ITE MICE and the leisure focused ITE, bringing more quality visitors, who have comparable interest level on destinations in Europe. A pioneer among Asian travel fairs, ITE Hong Kong features trendy travel themes popular with affluent travelers including FIT, and trade visitors.
B2B Program including Business Meeting – While majority of meetings of visitors and exhibitors took place in stands, the organizer holds Business Matching for quick dating between buyers and sellers, stages series of seminar such as Destinations Updates, and help promoting online registration for exhibitors’ seminars etc.
