On April 12, 2025, the top cycling race L’ Etape Greece by Tour de France 2025, with the signature of the legendary Tour de France, co-organized by EY ZHN Greece the Region of Western Greece and the Municipality of Ancient Olympia returns for the third consecutive year to the mythical and highly symbolic place of Ancient Olympia.
L’Etape Greece is an exciting cycling experience with the vibe of the legendary Tour de France, in a unique travel destination and is aimed at both amateur athletes and cycling enthusiasts. Participants will have the opportunity to test their endurance through three routes on a terrain that combines Greek nature and ancient history, on closed routes around the birthplace of the Olympic Games, with the guarantee and top safety standards of the Tour de France and the experience of EY ZHN Greece.
Experience the thrilling atmosphere of the legendary Tour de France in the third Greek event and discover incredible cycling routes in the Valley of the Gods, starting and finishing in Ancient Olympia. You can choose to compete in one of the two races of different distances and altitudes, The Race and The Ride and enjoy an epic experience in the land of the gods.
The Race (130 km with 2,000 meters of elevation), the main race, is a challenging circuit with multiple aid stations passing through iconic areas, while the shorter race. The Ride (75 km with 1,000 meters of elevation) is a smaller loop. Both routes pass by ancient temples, picturesque villages surrounded by olive groves, Byzantine churches, and hills covered in wildflowers.
