The Nea Smyrni Historic Run aims to surpass the 5,500 participants of last year’s event and reinforce the title of the biggest run event in Attica, right after the Athens Marathon, the Authentic and the Athens Half Marathon, while wish to sensitizing the public to the lost homelands.
The 3rd Nea Smyni Historic Run includes 10km, 5km and 2,5km races. To the 10km & 5km races can participate persons over 12 y.o. and to 2,5km persons of all ages.
The Nea Smyrni Historic Run is organized for third year in a row by the Cultural & Sport Organization of Nea Smyrni Municipality, under the auspices of SEGAS and with the support of Panionios Sports Club, Grove Allied Friends Club (SAFANS) and the Red Cross Youth.
Registrations continue unabated on the events official website online either at the special kiosk in the Nea Smyrni Grove, operating daily 9.00-14.00 and 18.00-22.00. The registrations will end on 27th of September.
Furthermore, the organizing committee calls everyone to support the event by participating to the Volunteers program.
