Nostos Expo, the exhibition focused on the alternative tourism, that is the most rapidly growing form of tourism worldwide, will be held for second year in a row on 13-16 October, organized by the Municipality of Nafpaktos.
Nostos Expo is the international reference event for the specialized and alternative tourism of every form, for all destinations and professionals in the field of tourism, activated in the Mediterannean and the Southeastern Europe. It’s the annual meeting that aims to the development, collaboration and networking of all those aspiring to exploit the most dynamic new trends in tourism.
Apart the exhibition the Nostos 2017 includes:
Nostos Forum: The annual international forum for training, information and views exchange on specialised and alternative tourism of all kinds. The forum is addressed to the destination management operators, the academic community and professionals and aims at highlighting the best practices, presenting researches and trends in all tourism sectors, targeting at viability and sustainability.
NOSTOS B2B meetings: With the support of the Greek Tourism Organization offices abroad, noted Hosted Buyers participate in the exhibition by holding B2B meetings with the participating Exhibitors. The process of the meetings’ planning is completed in advance, through a specially designed e-platform.
NOSTOS Food Tourism: Particular focus is given on the gastronomic tourism and the Greek Cuisine. Noted chefs and professionals in the field present the new trends in the traditional cuisine proposing unique local recipes and products produced throughout the country and constitute a reference point for the Mediterranean nutrition.
NOSTOS Events & Happenings: Events and Happenings are held at selected areas, indoors and outdoors of NOSTOS 2017, such as mountain bike shows, archery shows, kite surf events, sup events, horse riding lessons etc, attracting the interest of exhibitors and visitors.
NOSTOS for guests: Hosted Buyers, journalists and bloggers attend the unique experience of alternative activities in the wider region of Nafpaktia. Climbing, mountain bike, horse riding, hiking, trekking, cooking lessons, bird watching, off road jeep routes and local gastronomy tasting are among the activities that await the guests of NOSTOS 2017.
