The Poseidon Athens Half Marathon is the first that was held in Athens and traditionally in the first Sunday of May each year. His arrival, acted as a catalyst and contribute positively to the further development of the Popular Mass Road Races.
In 2017 it will be held on 23 April and registrations were opened on October 10th, 2016.
The Poseidon Athens Half Marathon, includes the following parallel races & events:
Races: – Half Marathon Run – Relay Half Marathon (2 runners) – 1/4 Marathon Run – Chiquita Athens Kids Run – Power Walking – Charity Run – Athens Fun Run (Coastal Zone)

The volunteering program will open for registrations on January 3, 2017. The Poseidon Athens Half Marathon is held under the auspices of Paleo Faliro Municipality, Greek National Tourism Organization, Hellenic Diabetes Association, European Federation “Sport for All” (UESpT) and Greek Federation of People’s Mass Sport – ultradistance (EOSLMA-Y).
