The Poseidon Athens Half Marathon is the first that was held in Athens and was traditionally held in the first Sunday of May each year. His arrival, acted as a catalyst and contribute positively to the further development of the Popular Mass Road Races.
In 2019 it will be held on April 21 and registrations will be closed on March 31.
The Poseidon Athens Half Marathon, includes the following parallel races & events:
Races: – Half Marathon Run – Relay Half Marathon (2 runners) – 1/4 Marathon Run – Chiquita Athens Kids Run – Power Walking – Charity Run – Athens Fun Run (Coastal Zone)
The Poseidon Athens Half Marathon is held under the auspices of Paleo Faliro Municipality, Alimos Municipality, Greek National Tourism Organization, Hellenic Diabetes Association, Hellenic Police and Hellenic Olympic Academy. The racing section is marked by the European Federation “Sport for All” (UESpT) and the Greek Federation of People’s Mass Sport – ultradistance (EOSLMA-Y).
