Posidonia International Shipping Exhibition 2024

Posidonia International Shipping Exhibition, will be held on June 3-7 at the Athens Metropolitan Expo.

“Powering ahead” is the theme for Posidonia 2024, exemplified by the impressive statistics of the Greek fleet and the growth of Posidonia itself. The 2022 event welcomed over 28,000 visitors from 103 countries, eager to do business with 1,964 exhibitors in the bustling exhibition halls.

Every two years Posidonia takes the pulse of the global shipping industry and focuses on key issues for Greek shipping.

In conferences and seminars chaired by industry leaders, there will be lively discussion and debate on issues, challenges and opportunities facing the industry.

Posidonia will again host the Tradewinds Shipowners Forum and much more seminars and conferences have already been scheduled.

The Posidonia 2024 Games

• Posidonia Cup: The flagship event of Posidonia, the Posidonia Cup sailing race will set sail on Friday 31 May 2024 at Faliron bay and is expected to once more welcome more than 50 yachts racing in 4 categories.
• Posidonia Running Event: On Sunday 2 June 2024 some 2,000 runners are expected to crowd the streets of the port city of Piraeus for the 5kms Posidonia Running Event.
• Posidonia Golf Tournament: The prestigious Posidonia Golf Tournament will attract keen golfers representing all segments of the global maritime industry on Sunday 2 June 2024.
• Posidonia Shipsoccer Tournament: More than 250 shipping executives representing 28 int’l and Greek companies, will once more compete for the popular 5×5 Posidonia Shipsoccer trophies on 2 June 2024.
• Posidonia 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament: Get ready to hit nothing but net at the 2nd Posidonia 3 on 3 Basketball tournament!
