The 6th edition of annual sailboat match racing event Skiathos Palace Cup returns on May 5-7 2023 and will take place in the waters off the island’s enchanting Koukounaries beach, a unique habitat, recently ranked first by Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards.
Since 2019, the Skiathos Palace Cup race is part of the Hellenic Match Racing Tour.
In 2019, The Skiathos Palace Cup was awarded the Sail Green or GO Home Award for its participation in the ecological action of Skiathos. It has also been designated as a “Clean Regatta” in the BRONZE category by Sailors For The Sea.
The event is organized by the Skiathos Nautical Club and the Region of Thessaly,with the Region of Thessaly under the auspices of the Municipality of Skiathos & the Hellenic Chamber of Shipping and the support of the Hellenic Sailing Federation and the Cultural Association “Skiathos, in collaboration with event management expert Trinity Events.
