The consortium said it would invest 9.3 billion drachmas in the facility to allow for the mooring of 600 yachts. After the works are completed, which should take no longer than three years, the consortium must make a one-off payment of 180 million drachmas to the Lefkada prefecture and begin submitting to the authority 13 percent of annual turnover. This is the third marina to come under the wing of Kyriacoulis Mediterranean AE, which also operates marinas in Kalamata and Corfus Gouvia area. Works at Lefkada will begin next year and be carried out in stages so that its operation is not interrupted.
