Vernicos Yachts and Nouvelles Frontieres signed a cooperation agreement in an effort to create one of the world’s biggest yachting enterprises. Nouvelles, France’s biggest tour operator serves 2,721,147 clients and has a 500-billion drachma turnover.

VPM, a subsidiary of Nouvelles Frontieres, has 15 bases around the world that cover the Caribbean, Mediterranean, Pacific, Seychelles and Madagascar, and is considered a global yachting powerhouse.

The agreement foresees the formation of a joint company made up of Nouvelles Frontieres and Vernicos, which will absorb VPM.

Within the framework of the deal, a joint proposal was submitted for the buyout of Stardust, France’s top yacht broker.

For Vernicos, this means exclusive use of its vessels in Greek waters, effective global marketing along with expansion and the strengthening of its position, both domestically and internationally.
