Local air taxi operator Hellas Wings recently took delivery of a new Jetstream 31. The twin-engine business aircraft is one of the most popular in the air taxi industry. It has an air speed of 429 kilometers per hour and a non-stop range of 1,852 kilometers. The medium-range prop plane accommodates in total comfort up to 18 passengers.

With the addition of this new aircraft, Hellas Wings expects to increase its customer base and expand flights to points in Greece and Europe. The company also flies a 7-seat Piper Chieftain 31 that has a non-stop range of 900 kilometers and can land at even the smallest Greek regional airport.

Hellas Wings, founded in 1997, is a subsidiary of Athens Aviation Services. The company has branch offices at airports in Corfu, Kalamata and Skiathos. Hellas Wings also works closely with local representatives at all other Greek airports.
