The Athens-based Amphitrion group says that it has taken delivery of six new, ultra-modern tour coaches. The company says the new vehicles were needed to meet increased demand and the needs of its clientele.

Valued at a total of 450 million drachmas, four of the six new vehicles are Mercedes Travego models and can carry 50 passengers, while the other two are 17-seat Mercedes Vario mini buses. The latest delivery expands the company’s fleet to 18. A new expansion plan to be completed by 2002 will see the fleet increase to 28.
