Philoxenia 2000 greeting.

The Philoxenia fair as an institution has been fully established in the psyche of every sector of our country’s tourism industry.

It consists of an important promotional tool for our Greek tourism product both in our domestic market and within the Balkan area.

This year’s fair takes place at a moment where there are substantial possibilities for increased tourism to northern Greece as it’s almost certain that a road network will finally open to link Greece with the countries of western Europe through Yugoslavia.

We wish the organizers and participants every success at this year’s fair because we truly believe that this type of event decisively contributes to the quality development of Greek tourism.

Concerning Greek Travel Pages, I would like to stress that it is a significant publication that offers a true presentation and promotion of Greek tourism.
