Philoxenia is now an institution tied to the tourism history of Greece. It consists of a tourism fair that brings Greek tourism business people together and gives the country’s regional areas an opportunity to promote their tourism destinations, most of which present still hidden and unutilized tourism opportunities. We hope the efforts of the fair’s organizers to constitute Philoxenia as the international fair for the eastern Mediterranean area will be crowned with success, and that this year’s Philoxenia will the best ever held. With this opportunity, I would like also to congratulate GTP on its 25 years of service to the Greek travel trade.
