During the first two phases, the Cypriot-based Lanitis group and its hotel partners spent more than four billion drachmas to expand and upgrade the 11-story hotel complex. Expansion projects included a unique “Waterfall Bar” and a 450-delegate conference hall. The resort now has 303 renovated rooms and suites, 28 bungalows and a variety of up-market restaurants. The five-star complex, on the picturesque coastal resort of Ixia, lies a mere four kilometers from the historic town of Rodos. The unit is managed by the Amathus Hotel Group.
