Silver Star Opens Athens Office

Thessaloniki-based Silver Star Holidays opened a branch office in Athens recently. Like the head office, it deals only directly with travel agents with tour packages to Malta, Turkey and Syria. It is also the exclusive representative in Greece for the Corinthia hotel group.

Corinthia has 17 four-star and five-star hotel and resort units in Malta, Turkey, Tunisia, the Czech Republic, Gambia and Portugal. Another two units are under construction in Hungary and Libya, and will open for next year’s summer season.

Stefanos Hatzimanolis, general manager of Silver Star, says his tour company operation, for the past seven years, has been able to offer quality services and very competitive prices to the Greek tourism market “not only to our three basic destinations but to European destinations and even domestic destinations.”
