Capsis Opens New Conference Center On Rodos

With a total conference capacity of 8,000 delegates, the new “Marika Capsis 2000” convention center in the Sofitel Capsis hotel on Rodos, which opens this month, is the country’s biggest.

It includes the Marika Capsis 2000 plenary room, the Marika Capsis 2000 exhibition center, the Rodos conference center, the Olympus hospitality suites building and the additional conference halls and break out rooms in the main hotel.

The Marika Capsis plenary hall, together with the galleries A & B, seats 3,000 people in one conference hall in theatre style. The unit also boasts 100 conference and break out rooms.

Along with the Rodos unit, the Capsis Beach Hotel & Sofitel Capsis Palace on Crete can host 4,800 delegates in a total conference capacity in 10 conference rooms for 150-1,200 delegates and 96 break out rooms for 10-150 delegates biggest. The units on Rodos and Crete are considered the biggest Conference Centers & Resort Hotels in the Mediterranean. The five-star Rodos unit is open all year and is located on a private peninsula of 150 acres, 25 km from the city of Heraklion in Crete.

The Capsis Beach Hotel & Sofitel Capsis Palace Conference Center Crete is also open all year and is located in Aghia Pelaghia on a private peninsula of 150 acres, 25 km from the city of Heraklion in Crete.
