Tourist enterprises are quite vulnerable to almost any crisis. A series of unfortunate incidents in the past, not to mention last month’s terrorist attack on New York, confirm this fact and mark the need of more efficient management and planning of each enterprise’s communications policy and practice.

The Greek Association of Tourism Enterprises (SETE) has taken the initiative to organize a media training and crisis management seminar. The seminar’s aim is to acquaint the participants with the theoretical and practical aspects of the basic principles of media management in case of crisis. It is intended for business people and executives that take over their company’s representation in the case of crisis, as well as for everybody who will have to take strategic decisions during a crisis.

The seminar will take place from December 6 to 8 and will be repeated on the 13th if interest is expressed. The seminar will be organized with the cooperation of SK Consulting and “Athinais” will be the accommodation sponsor. Application forms and a brochure with all the required information can be found at SETE’s web site (www.sete.gr). Those interested should submit their application before November 5.
