Athens International Airport is about to open an environmental information center within its main terminal building, according to a recent press release issued by airport management.

Management said the main objective of the Environmental Information Center -an area accessible to all passengers and visitors (Main Terminal Building Arrivals Level/Entrance 3)- is to inform the public about the airport’s environmental activities and increase environmental awareness.

For this purpose, photographic and informative material, as well as a video presentation depicting the airport’s environmental programs and targets, are available at the Environmental Information Center.
