For the moment, however, mostly due to the Iraq crisis, many investment projects announced have been placed on hold. Besides the above mentioned projects, a further 591 million euros in tourism investment is expected from some 1,500 Greek tourism enterprises this year under the development ministry’s “Competitiveness” program.
