Impressive Tourism Investment Projects

Some 180 million euros worth of investment projects are expected this year within the framework of the European Union’s Third Community Support Program.

For the moment, however, mostly due to the Iraq crisis, many investment projects announced have been placed on hold.

Besides the above mentioned projects, a further 591 million euros in tourism investment is expected from some 1,500 Greek tourism enterprises this year under the development ministry’s “Competitiveness” program. But again, many are being delayed somewhat until the war drums stop beating.
