Dionysis Bozikis, a cardiologist by profession, has created a little lodging gem hidden in the center of downtown Athens. His “Magna Graecia Suites” hotel was created from a three-story building designed and built by the German architect Ernst Ziller in 1898. This exemplary building now houses 12 unique suites with a very homey yet museum-like atmosphere.

Although doubtful from its outside appearance, this unit is truly an A category establishment almost directly across from the capital’s Orthodox Cathedral and boasts a wonderful view to the Acropolis. Each suite is unique not only in style but also in furniture, which is all new but replicas of the past. Dr. Bozikis says everything has been renewed but very little has been changed. Each room and every hallway is decorated with comforting frescoes and paintings by Andromahis. He says the unit was especially created for refined visitors and guests.
