Greece has been chosen as the honored country at this year’s World Travel Market, London, November 8-11, which celebrates its silver anniversary. On hand for the fair’s inauguration ceremonies as special guest will be Greece’s tourism development minister, Dimitris Avramopoulos.

As the honored country, Greece will be at the center of all events during the fair, including all those taking place with the Excel fairgrounds as it will be part and parcel of the WTM’s 25th anniversary celebrations and thus an excellent opportunity for the promotion of Greek tourism and Greek destinations.

As the Fiona Jeffery, general manager of the tourism exhibition said in a recent announcement: “This is definitely Greece’s year!”
