Trade Associations - Gov Nine Offers for Tourism Promotion Campaign by GTP editing team 1 November 2004 written by GTP editing team 1 November 2004 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 7 As October comes to a close there is still no news on how the nine advertising firms faired on their bids to handle the Hellenic Tourism Organization‘s advertising and promotion program for 2004-2005, which is worth about 31 million euros. The program, according to the tourism development minister, will run in 27 countries and begin in this month, November. Many in the trade, however, say it’s difficult to believe the campaign will get underway on schedule. From press reports, it appears that just one advertising firm, DDB Athens, has forwarded a bid to handle the ad and promotion program. Other companies have forwarded bids for the creative side of the campaign, which is said to be worth around one million euros.
