It’s the only Greek hotel that was created according to 5-star international standards and is considered the top in its class in Thessalia, says Grecotel, Greece’s biggest hotel chain. The new complex is spread over a wide green area just outside Larissa and is within easy reach of the city’s center. Grecotel says its 150 deluxe rooms are found in a central building, in suites and in bungalows that are spread harmoniously throughout the gardens. Nikos Daskalantonakis, president of the Grecotel Group, said during the opening ceremony that on deciding to create this Larissa unit we gave emphasis to our vision for quality hospitality. “The super deluxe Larissa Imperial is today the biggest hotel investment in Thessalia and is a serious regional effort toward our country’s development.” He said that Larissa, as an important economic and commercial hub, is capable of hosting up-market tourism. He also thanked local authorities for their support, which enabled the project to go ahead quickly and efficiently.
