Air Travel Lufthansa and Aegean Sign Cooperation Agreement by GTP editing team 1 April 2005 written by GTP editing team 1 April 2005 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 4 With the beginning of the winter schedule on October 30, Athens-based Aegean Airlines becomes a partner with Germany’s Lufthansa. The airlines will offer code-sharing within their networks whereby flights of both airlines can then be combined and booked via worldwide reservation systems and issued on a single ticket by either airline. Aegean’s passengers get improved access to the Lufthansa network and its 177 worldwide destinations in 73 countries, and Lufthansa’s passengers get convenient links to mainland Greece and the Greek islands. The code-share services will initially include all Aegean and Lufthansa flights between Greece and Germany, but also other selected flights within Greece and beyond the Federal Republic of Germany. The latter ones will be determined in the coming months. Follow GTP Headlines on Google News to keep up to date with all the latest on tourism and travel in Greece.
