The winners of the annual competition are decided by electronic voting, in which more than 175,000 travel industry operators took part this year. The Spanish Tourist Board received the second award. It would appear that the award came for Greece’s tourism organization’s campaign abroad this year, which has been based on the slogan ‘Live Your Myth in Greece.’ The 12th annual ceremony of the World Travel Awards, considered by most in the trade as the biggest and brightest annual event in the travel calendar, will be presented at London’s Royal Opera House on November 13, the eve of the World Travel Market Expo.
