The First Aegean Airlines Pro-Am Golf Tournament will take place June 2-4 at the Crete Golf Club in Hersonissos, an 18-hole championship course designed by Bob Hunt of PGA DC in Great Britain.

For the 36-hole tournament organizers are offering a 70,000-euro prize purse for PGA professionals and extraordinary gift-awards for amateur competitors. The golf tournament is open to 50 teams, comprised of one professional and three amateur players.

Aegean Airlines S.A. is the creator and major sponsor of the tournament, in association with the Crete Golf S.A. and the Crete Golf Club, and it is endorsed by the PGAs of Europe, and supported by the PGA of Greece and the Hellenic Golf Federation.
