Thanassis Zagoyiannis, managing director of BTI Greece, announced last month that his company is now associated with the Hogg Robinson Group worldwide network with wholly-owned corporate travel operations around the world.

BTI, Business Travel International, was founded in 1969 as Diners World Travel and joined the BTI Global Network in 1995 when it began building strong business relations with the HG group.

“Following the announcement on January 3, 2006, that the two shareholders in Business Travel International B.V., Hogg Robinson and BCD Holdings, had decided to follow their own separate strategies, our company had to make a choice, which of the two shareholders’ future networks to join.

“As we have known and worked closely with Hogg Robinson since we joined BTI in 1995, and have an excellent relationship with them, the decision to work with them in the long term was an easy one to take.”
He said that Hogg Robinson’s corporate approach of offering a comprehensive range of services was crucial to our decision.

David Radcliffe, chief executive of Hogg Robinson plc, said:  “We are delighted that BTI Greece has decided to join HRG – Hogg Robinson’s worldwide network. Our partners are all highly respected in their markets and have an excellent reputation for client service in both the international and local arenas.”

Hogg Robinson offers a comprehensive range of services that includes travel management and fulfillment services; low cost transactions; consultancy; expense management and processing; sports travel management services; conferences, meeting, incentives and event management.

BTI is a business travel specialist that provides an extensive range of corporate travel services including consultancy, travel expense management, fulfillment, events, congresses, and exhibitions.
