Corfu Hosted Inflatable Boat Races

With numerous successes under its belt in organizing boat races, the island of Corfu once again took on the task of organizing and presenting the Panhellenic Inflatable Boat Races last month.

The organizer, the Corfu Inflatable Boat club, said  the number of contestants this year was double that of last year and the races had especially exciting moments for both participants and spectators.

Along with the inflatable races, the organizers set up shows and spectacles that included water ski presentations and special presentations by the Corfu Lifeguard School.

The races and events took place at the Garitsas Bay Formula 1 track and are under the auspices of the Development Minister, the Hellenic Tourism Organization and the Municipality of Corfu and are being held with the support of the Ionian Islands Prefecture, the Corfu Regional Authority and the Corfu Municipality Business Development offices.
