Epidavros Agro-tourism Festival Showcases Argolida

Every weekend last month, tourists, travelers and locals had the opportunity to experience a unique side of the Argolida area as this year’s month-long 8th annual Epidavros Agro-tourism Festival showcased the traditions and products of Argolida Prefecture. And for the first time the festival remained open on Sunday with special programs designed to inform the public about the less well known, but authentic side of Argolida. These programs focused on agro-tourism, culture, tradition and folklore. For example, visitors took excursions to observe operations at a traditional olive oil press, an old water mill and a pasta workshop in a mountain village. Also, several traditional music shows were held.
