The new members were selected to strengthen the board in the travel destination field. The board has set next year’s tourism expo ITB Berlin for March 7 through 11. In reviewing this year’s expo held in March, the board noted that ITB Berlin lived up to expectations as an economic stimulus. The expo further strengthened its position as the world’s leading show with a record number of exhibitors and visitors: 10,856 exhibitors and 162,823 visitors.
