The 14-month project called “Development of the Strategic Marketing and Tourism Brand for Greek Tourism” is worth two million euros. Eulogio Bordas Rubies, the representative for THR Asesores en Turismo, Hoteliera y Recreacion, stressed that with the “right promotion Greece has all the prerequisites to become one of the five most popular destinations in Europe.” The advisory group will develop the country’s strategic and business marketing plan, branding, a crisis communication plan, evaluate all communication actions, and provide training and support to the Greek national tourism office.
