In the special annual publication by the editors of the U.S. luxury lifestyle magazine, Robb Report, it was listed as one of the 87 best luxury hotels in the world and one of the 14 best in Europe. “The Robb Report Luxury Hotels culminates a yearlong effort by our editorial staff members, who identified the best properties in each of nearly 100 cities worldwide,” explains Editor Bruce Wallin. The Robb Report Luxury Hotels showcased a collection of exclusive properties in 42 countries and on six continents that ranges from large historic hotels in Europe to contemporary boutiques in Asia. But each hotel, according to Mr. Wallin, shares at least one common trait, the ability to convey the absolute best of its respective city. The Grande Bretagne also appeared in the new German publication, teNeues Luxury Hotels Top of the World. Luxury hotels identified as being “top of the world” may have exquisite linens, museum-quality antique furnishings, stunning surroundings, impeccable standards and great attention to detail.
