Company updates New Up-market Tourism Product for Greece by GTP editing team 1 February 2007 written by GTP editing team 1 February 2007 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 11 VDL Bova’s international sales director, Wil Willems, and Bova’s market and product support person, Andrie Biemans. Event Makers, which focuses on special events and conference organization, last month presented its newest acquisition to the local travel trade: An ultra luxurious motor coach ideal for small but very special group travel, as well as on-the-road meetings, incentives or product launches. The coach will work under the Event Makers’ subsidiary company, Greek Limo Bus. Manufactured by VDL Bova of Holland, this coach has everything and anything required by a top executive in any field of business, as well as a comfort not found in some of the most exclusive conference sites – nor on some first-class airlines – and a road silence second to none. The 10-seat conference table, and in the background a look at just some of the technology on board. Instead of the normal 62 seats for a coach its size, the limo bus boasts but 29 leather “armchairs,” 10 of which can form around a conference table. A complete listing of the coach’s amenities and interior photos can be found at www.greeklimobus.gr. This new Greek tourism product is also secure. It boasts security systems such as cameras, a specialized “check-in” system from both front and side entrances that includes laser and electronic cards for each passenger. Athens-based Event Makers was founded in 2004 by Angelos Samolis. Besides its newest subsidiary Greek Limo Bus, the company has a branch office at Heraklion Crete (Travel Beyond Limits). It is an accredited member of the Hellenic Association of Travel and Tourism Agents. Follow GTP Headlines on Google News to keep up to date with all the latest on tourism and travel in Greece.
