For this summer, Air Transat will be serving 30 European cities including Barcelona, Malaga, Vienna and Athens. Together with its sister company, Transat Holidays, and its European partners, Air Transat will offer passengers not only direct flights but also an extensive range of tours, vehicle rental and accommodation. Air Transat carries 2.5 million passengers annually to nearly 60 destinations in 25 countries. It has a fleet of 16 Airbus A330s and A310s and employs 2,000 people. The new A310, the airline’s 12th, is the latest addition to the fleet and has resulted in the hiring of 15 pilots and 120 flight attendants, bringing the total number of Air Transat pilots to 275 and flight attendants to 1,100.
