Giorgos Baliouskas, the new commercial manager for Amadeus in Greece and Cyprus.

Giorgos Baliouskas recently became the new commercial manager for Amadeus in Greece and Cyprus.

Mr. Baliouskas has a long-term relationship with the tourism industry and has worked with several important travel organizations, on a national and international level, for the development of e-tourism during his career.

Mr. Baliouskas has also contributed to significant research with the University of Economics of Athens and conducted the IT readiness survey of 28 major travel agencies in Greece.

This was the first research of its kind in Greece specifically for the challenges, potential and development of the tourism market with regards to new technology.

General Manager of Amadeus in Greece Eva Karamanou said: “I am very happy to welcome George Baliouskas to our team. I am confident his experience, knowledge and specialization in the field of technology and tourism will propel the company in its continuous and increasing development.
