Starwood Group Launches New Website

The chain of Starwoord hotels, of which the Grande Bretagne and Astir Palace Vouliagmenis are members, recently announced the redesign of its website spg.com. The website is dedicated to the members of the program Starwood Preferred Guests (SPG).

This loyalty program is considered, amongst members of the industry, to be the best of its kind.

The redesigned website has a new aesthetic appeal, new tools and many downloads that provide members, according to the chain,  “with a rich, unprecedented and unique online experience.”

One of the basic characteristics of the revamped website is the MY SPG section, a personal service that allows members to have access to their spg points, and allows for easy access to information according to individual preferences. Information becomes more accessible to members as the search engines use the member’s history of interest and preferred destinations as criteria for new information to be provided.

The new website also allows members to add useful tools on their personal page such as the starpoint tracker that helps members follow their points and create a catalogue of their individual requirements.
