The second Tourism & Property Show, organized by media network group Real Travel, is to be held on the 22nd to 24th of this month in Athens, at the Fencing Hall of the Hellenikon Exhibition Center (former West Airport).

The organizers claim that following the success of the first Tourism & Property Show in May 2007, the exhibition has become a point of contact between Greek private and public bodies with international representatives in the field of tourism and real estate.

Some of the exhibitors participating in this year’s show include Emporiki Real Estate, Aspis Real Estate, Bank of Cyprus, Aspis Bank, Commercial Value, Minetta Insurance, J & P, Shelby International, Hellenic Homes, Aristo Developers, Ecopolis and Sol Energy.

The exhibition is under the auspice of the Tourism Development Ministry and the Greek National Tourism Organization. In addition to the private companies, many public interest companies active in the field of tourism and real estate development will also participate in the exhibition.

Some 110 hosted buyers will hold meetings with exhibitors during the show, so the latter can be informed on trends in significant markets such as the United Kingdom, Ireland, Russia and countries in central and Western Europe. The hosted buyer program is organized in collaboration with Travel Media Applications.

According to the organizers, interests in this year’s event has surpassed expectations, and several official tourism and real estate bodies in Greece and abroad have recognized the exhibition. These include the Greek Economy and Finance Ministry, the Greek Tourism Development Company, FIABCI Greece, the Arab-Hellenic Chamber of Development and Commerce, the Russian-Hellenic and British-Hellenic Chambers of Commerce, the German-Hellenic Property Protection Association and the Greek Association of Real Estate Brokers.
