Tourism Workshop for OTEK in South Korea

The Organization of Tourism Education and Training, represented by president of the administration board of OTEK, Dr. Konstantinos Kouskoukis, recently participated in a tourism workshop between Greece and South Korea in Seoul.

The aim of the workshop was to explore potential cooperation between the two countries in the tourism sector, and particular emphasis was placed on cooperation in the field of air transport and tourism investment.

During his stay in Seoul, Dr. Kouskoukis met with bodies of tourism education and discussed future education and training potential and specifically student exchange programs. He also presented OTEK’s mission with regard to educational activities undertaken by the organization, that is, the creation of training centers and participation in educational seminars in third world countries.

OTEK is the specialized Greek state institution that provides education and training for professions in the field of tourism. It operates as a legal entity under the supervision of the tourism development ministry.
