According to statistics revealed by CLIA its members carried some 12.6 million passengers worldwide in 2007 that marks a 4.6 percent increase compared with 12 million passengers in 2006. In 2007 it is estimated there were 10.3 million passengers from North America compared with just over 10 million in 2006.
