Indian Television Presenter and Series Producer Iram Mirza and acclaimed Cameraman Arul Prakasam were part of the crew. The Athenaeum Intercontinental, Louis Hellenic Cruises and Santa Marina Hotels in Arachova and Mykonos hosted the television crew during their one-week tour of Greece and many of the meals provided and the guided tours in the archeological sites in Athens and Delphi were courtesy of the Greek National Tourism Organization. Prior to the crew’s departure Mrs. Mirza met with Amphitrion Chairman Konstantinos Mitsiou whom she thanked for the hospitality and excellent organization. She also admitted to have “fallen in love” with Greece and promised this sentiment and enthusiasm would be transmitted through the show to millions of Indians and potential travelers to Greece. The specific episode on Greece was broadcasted on April 12-13 on CNN-India and the series has already been purchased by CNN-USA, Great Britain, Australia, Europe, Middle East and Africa and will be shown on all of these markets within 2008.
