Continental Airlines recently completed its second educational seminar at Athens International Airport for representatives from some of the biggest travel agents and tour operators in Greece. The aim of these seminars is to improve client service towards the United States and create and provide travel agents with a more holistic overview of what the airline offers. Some 130 representatives from some of the largest International Airline Travel Association (IATA) agencies in Athens took part in the seminar and were informed of the airline’s product and services so they can subsequently convey this to their prospective customers. Dimitris Karagioules, Continental Airlines sales manager for Greece, presented at the seminar and informed the participants of the airlines’ distinctions, its award-winning BusinessFirst service, competitive prices and international network. Mr. Karagioules expressed his satisfaction with the turnout at the seminar and asserted that Continental would continue these seminars in Greece because the airline is committed to keeping travel agents well informed. Continental Airlines is the world’s fifth largest airline. Together with Continental Express and Continental Connection it has more than 3,100 daily departures throughout the Americas, Europe and Asia, serving 145 domestic and 138 international destinations. More than 550 additional points are served via SkyTeam alliance airlines.
