Galaxy Hotel Fully Refurbished

Galaxy Hotel Iraklio on Crete, a member of the Oikonomou group of companies, recently opened its doors after a full refurbishment and upgrade to a five-star category that, according to the group, “aims to meet the needs of any visitor to the city for either business or pleasure.”

The newly refurbished hotel has emphasis placed on luxury with 127 standard rooms, 23 Business Rooms, 20 Club Suites and three Executive Suites, all with a city-view or a pool-view. The communal areas have been refurbished and Crete’s historic details have been discretely displayed throughout the hotel.

Galaxy Hotel has nine conference centers with a majority having natural light, and all of them are equipped with Wi-Fi Internet access and latest technology audio-visual facilities. The conference centers can cater for up to 160 delegates whilst the pool area can also be used for functions with a total capacity of 250 persons.

Oikonomou group has four-star Galaxy Villas in Koutouloufari, Chersonissos, and has expressed its desire to expand its activities in other regions of Crete in the near future.
