Attica Group recently announced the delivery of new-built Ro-Pax vessel Superfast I to Patras Port from Grimaldi Holding S.p.A, of Genoa, Italy. Superfast I is deployed in the Patras-Igoumenitsa-Bari route and is the first out of two vessels ordered, the second of which is expected to be delivered by the summer/autumn 2009. Superfast I has a speed of 24 knots and the capacity to carry 950 passengers, 170 freight units and 100 private vehicles.
