The bureau’s representatives fully informed hosted buyers, trade visitors, representatives of international associations, conference organizers and multinational companies on the city’s venues, accommodation, services and facilities that are ideal for the successful organization of a conference. According to the European Meeting Industry Report 2008 the international conference market seems to face the current crisis with optimism as 25 percent responded that additional international conferences are scheduled to take place over the next few years and 35 percent indicated that they would not reduce the number of planned conferences. Sixty percent replied that they would not make budget cuts for events. Follow GTP Headlines on Google News to keep up to date with all the latest on tourism and travel in Greece.
